Does my pet need behavioural counselling?

At the end of the day, the decision is always up to you and your family. You know your pet better than anyone, and only you can assess your own capacity in terms of training them. If your pet’s behaviour is causing negative effects on your routine, lifestyle or if they are causing harm to other animals and people, then it may be time to reach out to our team.

How can behavioural counselling help my pet?

These days, advice about training your pet is plentiful. All it takes is a quick Google search and you will have access to thousands of approaches and so-called experts. But, by consulting with our team, you will receive a personalized treatment plan made specifically for you and your pet. Our behavioural counselling can help you ensure that you will have the best approach for your pet, and will provide you with professionally proven skills.

What happens at the initial pet behavioural counselling meeting?

Your first consultation will let you “touch base” with your veterinarian and explain the problems you are dealing with. A general wellness exam can be performed to see if there are some underlying physical health issues, aside from the behavioural problems they are displaying. Then, we will explain the therapy plan that will best suit your pet’s case. Future appointments will be scheduled to track progress, and so we can modify the treatment as needed.
