I did my university studies at the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) located in Mexico City, the biggest university of Mexico and Latin America. During my time there I worked at the Equine university hospital for a year. Then I moved for a year to the Caribbean where I did a year of research on lobsters (panilurus argus) and shrimps (farfantepenaeus brasiliensis), and finally landed on small animal practice which I love and enjoy deeply.
I have volunteered in organizations such as People Pro Animal Rights (GEPDA due to it's acronym in Spanish), Life S.A, Donkey Sanctuary and Planned Pethood International. I worked with dogs and cats in Mexico for two years before coming to Canada. I’m very passionate about ultrasound, surgery and diagnostics. My favourite dog breeds are Pitbulls, Australian Heelers, Dobermans, Dachshunds and West Highland Terriers.
I’m a true believer that when you enjoy what you do, you do a better job, and it shows! You can rest assured that every time you bring your companion animal to the clinic every technician, receptionist and doctor will always look out for the best interest of your little one. I love sharing what I know so please don’t hesitate to ask, there’s no such thing as too many questions with me.
